Panola-Harrison Electric to Fix Broken Transmission Poles

PHEC has two broken transmission poles that need to be replaced.  A task like this is no easy feat between choosing the best time to replace the poles to planning a (hopefully) seamless process to making sure that everyone works safely. However, replacing the poles is absolutely necessary to prevent power outages and to repair damage to the infrastructure. We have an outage planned for the night of February 23, 2024 beginning at midnight. Out of an abundance of caution, with safety at the forefront our minds, we will shut off the power to all Texas members for a short period of time. Our members in Elysian Fields, Deberry, and Deadwood will experience a longer outage, approximately 3-4 hours, while the pole replacements are being done.  As always, we know what an inconvenience it is to be without power for any amount of time, but we have carefully planned the best way to complete the work as safely and quickly as possible.  We want to thank our members for their patience and understanding.  You can see the two poles that we will be replacing below.

Thank you,

PHEC
