Outage Update

4/10/24

We are still seeing outages scattered throughout the system. We currently have 101 outage locations affecting 552 meters which is a substantial amount of progress from where we were yesterday afternoon.

We have crews working on the larger areas (Keithville, Harper Rd, Deberry, and Deadwood) where there's a greater amount of members affected, however these areas have broken poles, lines down, and trees on the line. These issues do slow down the restoration process. Crews will continue to work through the night. Crews will also continue to work through the night on the smaller and isolated outages.

Below is a screen capture of our outage map that show the areas still without power to help give our members a visual of what the system looks like as of now.

We want to say thank you again for your patience.

Outage Update

4/10/24

8:10 a.m.

We have crews working in all substation areas to restore power.  Our larger outage areas are Deadwood, Deberry, Gill, Keithville, Harper Rd, and Buncombe Rd we have crews working in these areas to restore power as safely and quickly as possible. We also have crews working on the more isolated areas. Like yesterday, many roads are impassable and the current weather conditions are proving to make the restoration process more difficult.  This also makes it hard to determine restoration times.  Rest assured that the crews will continue to work until we reach full restoration.

Below are some photos that we have received from the field. This helps give everyone an idea of why the restoration process is so complex.
