10:00 p.m.

Texas Members: Power has been restored to all members in Texas except those in the Deberry and Deadwood areas. Crews will continue working through the night to find the issue and make repairs.  If you are NOT in the Deberry and Deadwood area and you are still without power, please call to report your outage again. Your outage could be an isolated issue or indicate that there is another problem down the line.

Keithville and Springridge Members: We are beginning to turn on circuits in both areas. Power should be restored within the next hour. If you are still without power after 11 p.m., please call to report your outage again. If you are on Harper Rd, we have two broken cross arms and we are aware of your outage.

Stanley/Grand Cane/Mansfield/Longstreet/Keatchie Members: We have crews that will continue to work throughout the night in all substation areas addressing individuals and smaller, more localized outages.

We are still seeing lightning moving through the system causing more outages. We appreciate your patience.

Thank you,

PHEC

OUTAGE UPDATE
4/9/2024
1:15 p.m.

We have received report from SWEPCO that it will likely take 3-4 hours before they can finish on their side.  Their crews are currently having to swim and wade through the water to get to the transmission line.  We appreciate your patience while our crews and SWEPCO crews work through such dangerous situations.

OUTAGE UPDATE
4/9/2024
11:55 a.m.

There is a SWEPCO crew diligently working in the Stanley area to make repairs to the transmission line. Unfortunately, the area is experiencing heavy flooding, which is prolonging the repair process. SWEPCO has provided us with an estimated completion time of 1:00 pm for their repairs. However, additional time will be required on our end to fully restore power once their work is complete. Our crews are standing by and ready to address any necessary repairs.

For our Blanchard members, power has been restored to some areas. However, Highway 1 remains without power due to multiple stripped cross arms. Please bear with us as we work to resolve this issue as quickly and safely as possible.

Additionally, we are still seeing isolated/smaller outages throughout the system. Our crews are actively working to address these outages as well.

We appreciate your continued patience and understanding during this time.

OUTAGE UPDATE
4/9/2024
9:31 a.m.

Unfortunately, the recent flooding has presented significant obstacles for our crews. Many roads have become impassable, making it difficult for us to access certain areas in need of repair. The safety of our workers is our top priority, and navigating flooded roads poses serious risks. However, please rest assured that we are exploring every possible avenue to overcome these challenges and restore power to all affected areas.

It's important to note that due to the current weather and road conditions, we do not have an estimated time of restoration at this moment. The flooded roads make it challenging for our crews to navigate from one outage location to the next, making it difficult to determine how long it will take to complete each repair.

Thank you,
PHEC
